JA: Have you checked the coolant? Have you checked for a leak in the cooling system?
Customer: not yet will do in the morning
JA: What is the model/year of your Nissan?
Customer: 1997 pathfinder
JA: Are you fixing your Pathfinder yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i added water to it but nothing else it just started to do it and yes i am
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: high pitched squealing sometimes and hard to steer when squealing

hi my name is ***** ***** the noise when you turn the wheel and be cause by a low power steering fluid level very possible you have a leak , as for the over head you should check for coolant leaks if you have none check the thermostat to do that let the car get hot and check the temp of the upper and lower radiator hoses if the lower one is cool and soft and the upper is hot and hard you have a bad thremostat .

Its leaking from the coolant resivor.

this is not realy a leak it may just be because the system is overheating and over spilling from the bottle check the thermostat
