Customer Question

JA: Have you checked the fuses? The dashboard bulbs?
Customer: Looking at it now and yes the dashboard notification lights will all come on as the vehicle disengages
JA: Are you fixing your Altima yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have tried nothing I am just looking to see if I can go buy some new fuses or if I need to take it in a pay a lot of money
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Does the check engine light stay on after this happens?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Hello. I'm trying to figure out if I can just go buy a new fuse or if this is a serious problem.

Well, this isn't a fuse issue. This sounds to me like one of the control modules is losing it's connection. It may be just the instrument panel which is computer operated, or the engine control computer. The fact that you are losing throttle response indicates a fairly complicated issue going on here.
