Nissan Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello and thank you for your question! My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you with your question today.
Did it start before the wires were replaced?
Many times the problem is a broken timing belt. Take the distributor cap off and have someone crank the engine and make sure the rotor is turning. If not, then the timing belt is broken. If it is, then the second most common issue would be the distributor itself.
Check for spark, if there isn't any and the rotor turns, then you likely need a new distributor.
