JA: What is the model/year of your Nissan?
Customer: 07 frontier
JA: Are you fixing your Frontier yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Put in the o2 sensor code still exists
JA: Have you located all of the vehicle's oxygen sensors? Are the wires leading to and from each intact and in good shape?
Customer: Yea one may not be in correct pin location
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Wires came out engine harness to o2 sensor driver side upper think back in same location

I changed the wires back to what I believe the correct pin location was because it ran a lot better than it did in the wrong locations would one of the wires being crossed send voltage back to the ECU may be and fry it I installed the new O2 sensor after it was running better where I believe the correct pin locations in the connector on the engine wiring harness

Hello, if you crossed the reference voltage from the ECU to the ground at the O@ sensor it may have damaged the ECU. What code is coming up and which engine does your frontier have? I'll pull the info so you can double check.

Thanks most all the codes reference heater circuit problems in the oxygen sensor. Look over the items below and run through the voltage checks that are shwon in order to determine if it's wiring or an ecm issue.
