Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today.

P3027 is not a valid code on this vehicle. I am attaching a TSB that relates to your other code which should fix that if you follow it.

If you can get me the other code I can check in to that.,

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sorry, correct code is P0327
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

OK that one is almost always due to a bad knock sensor. The knock sensor is located under the lower intake manifold and is not an easy job. It requires an oscilloscope to properly test which I will assume you dont have. For the price of the sensor itself if you are doing the work and have the time to spare its probably worth rolling the dice to replace.

Ok, and this code also showed up, P1143
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

Did you look at the TSB I provided you earlier?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok. Thanks. Just to be clear, if I replace the knock sensor, it should clear codes?
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 1 year ago.

If you replace the knock sensor AND perform the work in the TSB I sent you it SHOULD. Again without a scope its only a well educated guess on the knock sensor but FWIW I have never had it be anything else with that code on this engine.
