Nissan Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hi, I am Mike, welcome. I'm reviewing your question.
It sounds to me as though if you have an inertia fuel shutoff switch, maybe going into a ditch tripped it.
can you hear the fuel pump prime when you first turn the key to run?
Actually, there is no inertia switch as far as I can tell.
Check the fuel pump fuse and if it's ok, replace the fuel pump relay and try it again.
That's fuse #48 in the IPDM E/R (INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM) (RIGHT REAR OF ENGINE COMPT)
And if you cannot hear the fuel pump over the sound of the cooling fans, remove the fuse for the fans right now so you can listen or if you have someone to help remove the gas cap and put your ear up to the filler hole and listen as someone else turns the key to run.
Does the fuel pump run yet?
