My drivers seat was moved all the way forward to get

my drivers seat was moved all the way forward to get underneath for cleaning and now it will not go back. There is a small black plastic track lining{?} sticking out in back now. what do i do
JA: What is the model/year of your Nissan?
Customer: 2007 murano
JA: Are you fixing your Murano yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: nothing except to open the plastic cover at the end of the track
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hey how are you

check all the fuses under the steering wheel in that instrument panel fuse box

look under the seat make sure none of the seat motor electrical connector got unplugged ?

if both fuse and connector good plugged in then we have to test for power and test the motor but more testing is needed

the motor is working it just wont move back. It will go up and down etc just no backward movement is that a seperate fuse? Is the black plastic i mentioned supposed to be threaded on the spindle?
