Nissan Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello and welcome. My name is ***** ***** you for visiting the site, I am reviewing your question and will reply shortly, thanks.
Which engine, 2.4?
I see, thanks. There was a factory service bulletin for the scan tools not reading the correct amount from the sensor. However, it could be that the sensor itself is bad, or the solenoid valve, (stuck/clogged) is bad.
You may need to monitor the absolute pressure sensor voltage on a 1997 Truck, monitor the blue (L) wire between the absolute pressure sensor (terminal # 2) and ground or the ECM (terminal # 57) and ground with a digital multimeter.
Right, that is what the bulletin was put out for, (see previous post) thanks
If, "everything" was 'fine' there would not be any code(s) setting, unless the ECM is bad. Does the voltage change when the RPM's are raised, (to about 2500)?
