I got a code for p1105, nissan pickup 1997, i scanned it and

Customer: i scanned it and the hg is at 31 not moving at all

I see, thanks. There was a factory service bulletin for the scan tools not reading the correct amount from the sensor. However, it could be that the sensor itself is bad, or the solenoid valve, (stuck/clogged) is bad.

You may need to monitor the absolute pressure sensor voltage on a 1997 Truck, monitor the blue (L) wire between the absolute pressure sensor (terminal # 2) and ground or the ECM (terminal # 57) and ground with a digital multimeter.

i got 5 v when i tested it .

i also tested my other truck and got the same voltage but that truck is fine

now i thought there wasn't vacuum but i disconnected the hose and there was. as soon as i disconnected it the scanner hg went down to 0 and i reconnected it and went straight to 31 not moving anymore from there

If, "everything" was 'fine' there would not be any code(s) setting, unless the ECM is bad. Does the voltage change when the RPM's are raised, (to about 2500)?
