JA: What is the model of your '01 Nissan?
Customer: Sorry mistake, 2011 Nissan Altima very bad hesitation or bog after closed loop tried disconnecting alt. replaced MAF, throttle body, also for fyi had trans. replaced , fuel press is 53 psi, 10 %ethanol idle learned 3 times Identifix is stumped scoped crank / cam sensor. comp sees gas pedal input but can watch throttle body plates open and close on waveform on scanner.
JA: Are you certain it's the fuel pressure sensor that's in need of attention? What about the fuel rail? Have you checked it yet?
Customer: no don't think it's fuel
JA: Are you fixing your Altima yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: did you read what I just typed ??
JA: Got it. Anything else you want the Nissan Mechanic to know before I set up your one-on-one?

The only and best way to get this resolved is by attaching a data recorder to see exactly what has changed from open to closed loop. Once it's been recorded, you just read it all back on your computer.

Most shops should have this tool and you can even get your own for about $50.00 on Amazon.

I use the OTC 3005 data logger.

This will find the problem for sure.
