Customer Question

Hallo, I was on tour in Namibia and had a very successful tour. I used 4W High and 4W Low quite a lot on the dunes at Walvisbay and Swakopmunt. On my way back to Karasburg, the ABS Light on the dash went on and I found that a rock on the gravel roads damaged the right rear wheel ABS cable. I went to Upington Nissan where the workshop manager try to fix the cable without success because they did not had a spare in stock. He sais to me that the computer do nor want to reset. I went home (Witbank) and only Yesterday 08/09/2016 I found out that 4W High and 4W Low do not want to engage. No wires is damaged on the gearboxes. Can it be that the computer is causing this?

Hi I'm Kevin has abs fault now been rectified ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No, the cable is not yet replaced.
Expert:  Kevin replied 1 year ago.

Is is highly likely the car is not allowing you to use 4x4 mode as its missing a wheel speed input . Once sensor is replaced all should return to normal
