JA: Have you tried locking and unlocking the driver's side door using the key itself?
Customer: i believe it was already unlocked
JA: What is the model/year of your Nissan?
Customer: 98 pathfinder i do not have the key fob
JA: Are you fixing your Pathfinder yourself? What have you tried so far?

Hello, I would suggest removing the battery and charging it off the vehicle.

With the key out of the car, open the bonnet, close the doors and then fit the battery.

When the alarm sounds, close the bonnet, lock and unlock the doors and then switch the ignition on.

This usually quietens the alarm.

If you are in a hurry, connect the jump leads, get someone to press the bonnet pin switch if there is one or flick the latch across so it thinks it's closed and do the same procedure.
