My fan (air conditioner/heat) stopped working mid-afternoon,

Customer Question

My fan (air conditioner/heat) stopped working mid-afternoon, tried it the next morning, it worked. Worked for 5 days and has now stopped working again.
JA: Have you checked the coolant level? Has there been any leaking from the hoses?
Customer: That's all fine, it's the actually fan. No air is blown out
JA: What is the model/year of your Nissan?
Customer: 2003 Sentra
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, haven't tried anything yet. Was surprised when it starting working again and is now not working..
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: There wasn't any sort of noise i.e. clanking or sputtering, just a complete lack of function. Then came back on, normal function and then 5 days later stopped like before.
