Installed new fuel pump, drove Armada home from the shop

Customer Question

Hi Pearl. Installed new fuel pump, drove Armada home from the shop where I installed it. Drove excellent. Next morning on the way to work it stalled on the interstate. Has not started since. Installed new IPDM ecu relay and still will not start. Fuel pump does activate when ignition is turned on.
JA: How many miles are on the car? Has the car been starting normally?
Customer: 205,000 miles. Yes no starting issues. The reason for the new fuel pump was bucking and severe hesitation during acceleration .
JA: What year is your Armada?
Customer: 2005
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes. So far. I just received the ecm relay today and installed it . Did not start but the battery is dying so I am charging it.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Not really, the truck has run flawlessly and no problem, just maintenance due to mileage. Just bought it 4 months ago and it had approximately 190,000 miles on it at the time.

HI there,

When it is running was the check engine light on?
Is the security light on solid or flashing when you crank the engine?
