Customer Question

I have a 2004 Nissan Maxima. My car is stuck in 5th gear. When I put it in reverse it is fine but when I put it in Drive I have lack of acceleration and power and takes a min to get up to speed. I have replaced the maf, electronic throttle, and all crank and cam sensors as bank 2 cam sensor code continues to pop up. I have changed these sensors 3 times each. Could my issue be the knock sensor or something else

i have seen this numerous times and 95% of the time its cam sensor related.

SInce you still have the code, you can bet that's the area you need to address.

I hope for starters that you have OEM cam sensors in there, because if not I wouldn't even bother swapping a sensor UNLESS it's OEM.
