I have a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. When I try to turn it over

Customer Question

I have a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. When I try to turn it over I here one single click coming from the fuse box under the hood but the car won't start. I replaced the battery and had the starter checked and it's good. Where should I look next?

Hi there,

Do you have a test light or volt meter?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Volt meter yes

Ok,

Need to check the white wire going to the starter for power when the key is in the start position.

Also, check the voltage at the large black/red stripped wire at the starter. This should have constant voltage key on or off. Please check this and let me know.

Thank you
