Customer Question

2010 nissan rogue slip light/VDC off lights come on, car seems to lose power/won't accelerate, only has 71000 miles on it and I have the 100,000 warranty on it from the dealer(used) I bought it from, going to talk to them about getting it into the shop early next week.
JA: How old is the transmission? Have you checked the fuel filters?
Customer: the car is a 2010 and as far as I know original this just occurred this week.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: no I am mechanically deficient............
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: that should do it....the car has lack of acceleration when these lights come on...
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Nissan Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello, I'm Brandon - Nissan tech.
The engine is going into limp from preventing any further damage.

It be an engine management management sensor issue. The tech will need to scan the vehicle's computer to further diagnose.

It could be a misfire, transmission solenoid or a bad throttle sensor.

Nissan will cover the cost if there are problems.

Please rate me positive, thank you!
