Do you have a volt meter? Are you at the truck?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
NoI do not have one
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I am at the truck
Expert:  Jake replied 1 year ago.

dang this will be almost impossible without at least a test light

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
What do we need to do with the test light
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have good lights everywhere on the truck
Expert:  Jake replied 1 year ago.

since you don't have a volt meter to check the starting circuit.

and since you were having shifting issues, crawl under the truck and make sure the shift linkage did not come undone. ther is a little castlenut that holds it on the brass shift linkage lever that comes loose sometime.
