My 06 titan has a misfire on cylinder 1. I've changed coil

Customer Question

My 06 titan has a misfire on cylinder 1. I've changed coil plug and injector. Still missing
JA: How many miles are on the car? Is it a steady misfire? Or random?
Customer: 86600 and it's steady
JA: Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: Burned up 2 coils on opposite bank. I think I have that straightened out Also did a compression test on it and it checked out fine
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Nissan Mechanic should know about your Nissan?
Customer: Nope
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Nissan Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hey there, did you verify your battery grounds and manifold ground was good since your burning up coils?

Expert:  Jake replied 1 year ago.

more than likely you have an intake leak at that cylinder or a headgasket leak.

Best way to check that would be to smoke the intake while sealing off the throttle body.

I want to say yes but I will double check that today.

sounds good. check the grounds and smoke the intake and get back with me.

worst case scenario we have to pressurize the cooling system and remove the plug in cylinder 1 or do a leakdown on that cylinder.

i say save that for last and we can use the compression tester with schrader valve removed for the leakdown.
