the car keeps on dragging, even while pressing accelerator pedal
Expert:  FIXITMAN replied 1 year ago.

The codes you are getting do not have anything to do with the transmission. The codes are for the fuel pump temperature sensor and the oxygen sensors. Were these replaced?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i have ordered for the oxygen sensor, don't know where to locate the fuel temp sensor
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
are my replacing all the oxygen sensons, cos the code states HO2 2/2
Expert:  FIXITMAN replied 1 year ago.

Your code is for the heater circuit on the oxygen sensor. Did you disconnect any of the sensors when servicing the transmission?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No
Expert:  FIXITMAN replied 1 year ago.

You can either change the sensors or check the voltage at the sensor for the heater circuits

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i will change the sensor (1)
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
how do i check the voltage? from the scanner?
Expert:  FIXITMAN replied 1 year ago.

I would start by checking fuse number 54 in the fuse box under the hood.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
ok

Expert:  FIXITMAN replied 1 year ago.

Did this code come up with all of the other codes?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Expert:  FIXITMAN replied 1 year ago.

Thank you. I don't have any diagrams available for your vehicle. Did you check the fuses that I mentioned? The fuse box cover should be marked with the numbers.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I checked bank 1 sensor 2 (driver side) and discovered the cable on the sensor is damaged. fixed that already. for now i have erased all codes and hoping that it won't come back
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
2 major issues now before i go into other things are
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
though there is changes in the movement but the sharp take off known for xterra is not yet there. acceleration is a bit sluggish. then slip light is still on despite cleaning all the wheel sensors (front & rear)
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
there is no number on the fuse
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the fuse is for what component
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i just re-park the car now and i discovered the code P0181 - fuel temp sensor is back
Expert:  FIXITMAN replied 1 year ago.

The fuel sensor may be the part that you need to replace. This is located on the top of the fuel housing. Did your fuel pump come with a new fuel temperature sensor.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i m sure, but see attached the pictures of the fuel pump i installed
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Please i need the picture of the fuel temp sensor
Expert:  FIXITMAN replied 1 year ago.

That fuel pump should have a new sensor in it already.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
By replacing the fuel pump (complete unit) and the H02 sensor 2/2, the check light is already off?The issue i m still having as i have been reintering (other ones above are just add ons which where detected when i scanned the system) are:1. the vehicle drags after driving for a while as if its moving by force and appears heavy with the steering wheel a bit hard to drive.2. slip light remain on despite cleaning the wheel sensors. I discovered while cleaning the sensors, it was only the passenger wheel sensor that accumulated a lot of dirt (though cleaned now).please advise as enumerated above. Thanks
Expert:  FIXITMAN replied 1 year ago.

The slip light coming on is an indication of the traction control system turning on which will cause a power loss. You need to scan the traction control module to see what codes are coming up when the light comes on. Does your scan tool have this capability or is it just a generic scan tool?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
good morning,
sorry for my late response. I have been busy lately
I will have the traction system check and revert to you asap
thanks
