5-volt references on the Green/Yellow and the Green/Black, The Green/Yellow wire should read about 2.4 to 2.7 volts.

1987 Nissan D21 VG30E ECU code 21 no ignition reference, no spark replaced igniter module did not secure that it got very hot where as the other one did not, no spark at coil I have battery voltage at coil when ignition is turned on.

Are you reading the reference from the distributor?

If you get a solid 5v reference, especially when not cranking and cranking, then you need a new cam sensor which is built into the distributor.
