I just replaced ignition cylinder 2000 nissan altima and the car fires and starts for a second but won't stay running. what did I do wrong? Thanks

Hello my name is ***** ***** thank you for your question.

When you changed the ignition cylinder, you will need to program the keys to the car for it to run. These keys have a chip in them that get programmed to the Ecm for the vehicle to run.

To program the keys you need a scanner. You can have a Mobile Locksmith come to you and program the keys for you and that will resolve your issue.
