Hello my name is ***** ***** thank you for your question.

What is your question about the main fusible link?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
hooked a battery up backwards I think it fried the link is that a dealer item only and is it hard to replace
Expert:  Jay replied 1 year ago.

Yes, it is a dealer item only. It is not hard to replace. Just make sure you disconnect the negative battery cable first. Then remove the 12 nuts and the two plugs to the fusible link plugs and you should be fine to replace it. Just take your time and if needed mark the wires to which side they are located on once removed.
