My son just spent $650 on 11/13/15 to replace front pads,front rotrs new r/f axle becuase it was making a bad nosie when trying to stop car Here we are 12/2 and the noise is back even worse when he tries to slow down He said it makes a bump bump bump sounbd when he applies the brakes any suggestions??? It sounds like the control arm bushing are going bad or worn out.

What is the year make and model?

Ok, the mechanic need to inspect the front control arm they tend to go weak at high mileage and eventually it will break off.

The noise could be coming from there.
