Customer Question

I have a 2005 Titan, for about the last month or so at times when I try to start the truck I was getting a ping sound and the engine won't turn over. I would turn the switch off and try again and the engine turned over. This was happening at different times couldn't pin it down to a specific time or event. At my last service they informed me the battery would need replacing soon. This past weekend the truck wouldn't start and no pinging just a clicking noise, replaced battery still won't start. Have it at the shop now to replace what I thought might be the starter problem but the mechanic states the truck is starting just fine. Where do we go from here ?
