Removing the crank sensor from a 2000 nissan pathfinder 3.3

Customer Question

removing the crank sensor from a 2000 nissan pathfinder 3.3 litre motor I accidentally from aggravation pulled the wires from the harness out of the plug. The sensor has 2 prongs. The wires from the harness are blue and black. does it matter which wire goes in which side of the crank sensor and if so which wire goes on which side. the new sensor does not have a neg or pos mark anywhere,so I am thinking it might not matter? I need to know. thanks

good evening my name is ***** ***** I will assist

I have never tried reversing the wires to see what would happen but I would wire it the same way from the manufacturer. I attached a diagram for you to review so you can install them correctly.
