I have a 2008 Nissan Rogue. I started it and moved it 200

Customer Question

I have a 2008 Nissan Rogue. I started it and moved it 200 feet let it idle for about 5 to 8 mins shut it off now it wont start. Had to put gas in it as i think someone tried to siphon some out. It cranks over and tries to fire but does not. Checked fuel pressure, lots. Spark is good. Changed crank and cam sensor still no go. Would it be something to do with the Anti theft system? Put brand new battery in also. Please help.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If it has proper fuel pressure and spark then you could have an exhaust restriction or fuel contamination, possibly an engine mechanical issue.

Have you checked for fault codes?

Did you check fuel pressure with a gauge?

We checked and have no codes. We did check with pressure gauge for fuel pressure. Could it be something to do with the Anti-theft system (factory)? How do you check for exhaust restriction? Thanks

A security issue can't cause it to die while driving.

What was fuel pressure after cycling the key two times and when cranking?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The gauge read 50 psi.

Did you take a fuel sample when the gauge was on it?
