Hi, My name is*****'m happy to help you. During our conversation, I may be presenting you with different things to try, and ask you some Questions to get a better understand of the issue so I can answer your question properly. So stick with me to the end, and I am sure we should be able to get this issue resolved for you!

Well you are possibly looking at a fuel pump as well and maybe all 6 injectors. But you do 1 thing at a time of course.

To remove the fuel tank, you will need to disconnect the exhaust so there is nothing in the way for the tank to come down. So anything in it's way will need to be removed. Fuel filler neck and hoses off the tank will need to be removed. Then the fuel tank straps. As you slowly lower the tank, you will need to disconnect the fuel line to the fuel pump and the electrical connector. If this tank is full, you need to make sure you have some sort of support like a hydraulic jack if not two of them that can lower the tank slowly. If it drops, it will rip hoses and connectors off.

I would recommend you change the fuel pump while you have it out. You don't want to put it all back together to find you have to change it and have to drop it all over.

Here is some steps on how to drop the tank and remove the fuel pump for you
