I have a 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid. I have a bad bearing hub

Customer Question

I have a 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid. I have a bad bearing hub on the right front and want to replace it myself. Last time I messed with the brakes, the braking sensors went snapfooey and I had to take it to the mechanic to get the brakes working again. My question is: Is there a way to disable the brake system sensors so I can preform the hub replacement, then turn it them back on with no ill effects? In searching the internet, I saw where you can put the Prius in "Pad Replacement Mode" by Cycling the ignition three times so I tried that on the altima but it did not work. Thanks for your help.
