Did you try to jump start the car or hook the battery cables up backwards by chance?
Ok, this might seem like a stupid question, but I have had it happen before. Did you take the caps off the new battery?
Ok, when you have zero power to anything on the car it's either a dead battery, which of course should't be if new, or a blown main fusible link. So, I would have you check the main fusible link on the positive battery cable. This should be bolted to the cable and have a clear top. You should be able to look through the top and see if it's blown.
Also, if I remember correctly, there should also be a couple of maxi fuses in the positive cable.
