Hi there,

Does the engine crank and not start or no cranking at all?
How many miles on the truck and what engine is in it please?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No it doesn't crank at all , and it has 140.000 mile v6 4.0
Expert:  Mike V. replied 1 year ago.

Ok, do you get any clicking when you try to start it or silence?
Auto or manual transmission?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
but it doesn't crank
Expert:  Mike V. replied 1 year ago.

Ok, is it a single click or a series of rapid clicks?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
A single click and it kind it want to crank
Expert:  Mike V. replied 1 year ago.

Ok, a single click normally means the starter is no good. Sometimes it's worth trying a jump start to see if it will crank, or even if you then get rapid clicking, this would at least tell us if the battery is weak. Normally however it's a starter problem.
