I have a 2000 Maxima GLE my transmission is slipping in

Customer Question

I have a 2000 Maxima GLE
my transmission is slipping in 2nd gear when the car warms up and the day is hot. Usually about 40 minutes into driving on 90 degree or warmer days. Could this be the revolution sensor?

Do you have any codes at all? have you checked fluid level and condition? let me know
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Only code is for catalytic converter. Fluid is full and was changed a month ago

Thanks, ***** ***** thing I would check is the dropping resistor by the air box.
When a revolution sensor or speed sensor is causing issues it's generally not related to fluid temperature or engine temperature. This sounds more like a drop resistor issue or a solenoid issue inside the transmission.
