Customer Question

What are possible sources of occasional thud noise from front when turning. I recently installed new shocks.

Hi there, thanks for your question.
There are a few things that can cause this.
The two more common things that generally only this when turning are the sway bar end links and the tie rods.
Neither of them will have an obvious visual indication that they are failing, you need to inspect them for play.

I'll take a look at the sway bar and connecting rod nuts/bolts and verify that they are tight.

Thanks for the advice

Physically grab the sway bar end links and see if they have play.

if they have play then replace them.
