Maxima: Had a person drive there 2011 Nissan Maxima V6 about

Customer Question

Had a person drive there 2011 Nissan Maxima V6 about 8 miles after an oil change it then just shut off. Looked at the dipstick and there was nothing on the stick. Towed it back to shop pulled the plug and maybe about .25-.50 of a quart came out of pan. After adding proper amount of oil the 5.1 quarts tried to start it and no accessories or anything comes on only where it tells you on the screen to push on brake. Towed it to dealer they said engine is blown. They said that there is no safety mode on these cars to just shut done engine so it don't blow it if there is no oil in vehicle but then someone told me there was. When I went to the dealership I tried to turn the vehicle on and still no accessories came on just where it told you to press the brake to start.
What could be causing this vehicle not to start or no accessories to come on at all or could this engine really be blown.
I think The dealer is trying to get over on me.

When the car returned back to your shop, and you added oil to the car, the car would not restart? Is that why it went to the dealer?
