hey there, are ou referring to relocating the knock sensor?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Saw post about not doing it on the supercharger?
Also can the supercharger make the knock sensor alarm?
And because i just put on a timing belt and was very careful about lining it up right could I be off one tooth and make the sensor alarm?
Expert:  Jake replied 2 years ago.
The knock sensor does not throw a service engine light on it's own. You generally only notice knock sensor codes because there is another issues and your scanning for codes. I generally tell people on these engines to just NOT replace the knock sensors at all. Did you have any of these problems PRIOR to replacing the timing belt? or did this all occur afterwards?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
it occur afterwards and will go away if i take timing back to zero dead center but don't have any power. And when running down the road with timing a10 deg it runs great but in park the check engine light will flash?

If I have a bad bearing in the supercharger will that effect the knock sensor?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
the 2 codes are 0300 and 0325
0300 is a misfire and 0325 is the knock sensor.
Do I have timing belt off?
Expert:  Jake replied 2 years ago.
if you get aP0300 AFTER a timing belt replacement it's generally off 2 teeth from my experience. The lack of power at higher rpms is another common symptom of the timing being off and when that happens it usually has a weird idle also. The knock sensor is going off because of the misfires, don't worry about the knock sensor at this time.
