Please how do I resolve this codes on my 2005 nissan xterra P1168 and P1051
good morning. The codes you have are for the engine not going into closed loop operation(P1168).This is probably caused by the second code you have(P1051)which is the heater circuit for the oxygen sensor on the left bank(drivers side).I would replace the oxygen sensor and that should correct your problem unless you have a wiring problem.Have a close look at the wiring going to the sensor and make sure that it is not broken or resting on the exhaust manifold. Please let me know if you need more assistance,Don

Your answer was excellent. I found out that the sensor connector was having a partial contact and I have rectified it. Thanks a lot for your help
