2001 Nissan Maxima: crank positioning sensor replaced..wont start

Resolved Question:

My 2001 Nissan Maxima will turn over but will not start. I had the crank positioning sensor replaced on Thursday and that solved the problem until today. Went out this morning and the car will turn over but wont start. What could be the problem?

Hi there!
Is the security light on solid or flashing while you crank the engine?

Flashing while you are cranking the engine?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

It's flashing before I crank the engine then off as far as I can tell while I'm cranking the engine.

Ok, I wanted to make sure the security system hasn't shut the car down.
If I give you a couple of tests to try is it something you can do?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Sure, no prob

Ok, just needed to know the skill level is all. Variety of people on here!
Like to have you try to unplug the mass air flow sensor and crank the engine and see if it will start and idle.
If not, like to next have you plug it back in and spray some carb cleaner/starting fluid into the throttle and see if the car will fire off of it for a couple of seconds.
Let me know!

I unplugged the MAF but the car will not turn over now. The battery is to low for testing now. It probably needed a charge after all of the failed starting the other day. Not sure. It didn't sound good starting yesterday after work, took a couple tries.

I see, if the engine speed doesn't get to 250 rpm, then the car won't start. It's possible that is the only reason it won't start now.
Charge it up and let me know if it will start.
You might have a charging system issue or a bad battery if it won't charge up as well.
