2005 Nissan Frontier: engage..the 4wd..indicator light..transfer case

Resolved Question:

My friends 2005 Nissan Frontier 4wd has a problem with the 4wd system. The switch will not engage the 4wd or go to low range 4wd. When he attempts this, the 4wd indicator light flashes rapidly but the transfer case does not shift. Also, the differential lock switch does not engage the differential lock. Also, there is an ABS light on, and also the "slip" light is on, we are not sure all these are related. Hope you can lead us down the right path here, thanks.

Jay : Hello and thank you for using
Jay : The 4x4 system relies on ABS signals, since they read vech speed. If you have a ABS light on, the first thing you need to do is find out what code you have stored in the ABS system. If you have a bad wheel sensor, the code will tell you what wheel it is, and that sensor can also affect 4x4 operation.

OK, we'll look at that and get back to you if we need further guidance. Thanks.
