Here is the applicable section from the removal procedure. The torque on the crank bolt is 29 - 36 ft lbs +60 degrees

this doesn't say anything about the harmonic balancer

It loaded the entire chain procedure. If you scroll down to page 6 step 17 the removal of the balancer is outlined through the next few steps. Look that part over and let me know if you still have questions about what needs to be done to remove the balancer

I read the directions you gave me but there is no mention of the harmonic balancer on any of these pages! Are they calling it the crank shaft pulley? It would have been helpful for you to let me know this. Can you tell me the correct name for this part?? I have seen dynamic harmonic balancer, vibration damper, torsion damper, harmonic balancer, and crank shaft pulley? Which one is it?
