2002 Nissan: I replace the radiator..3.5L..Maxima

How do I replace the radiator in my 2002 Nissan 3.5L Maxima? Is it an easy job that I can shade tree myself, or should I take to a shop?

hi, the only tools needed is some pliers and a 10mm wrench Radiator


1. Remove under cover.

2. Drain coolant from radiator.

3. Disconnect radiator upper and lower hoses.

4. Remove radiator shroud.

5. Remove A/T oil cooler hoses. (A/T models only)

6. Disconnect reservoir tank hose.

7. Remove radiator mounting bracket.

8. Remove radiator.

9. After repairing or replacing radiator, install any part removed in reverse order of removal.if you have more question please ask .

What are A/T oil cooler hoses, please?
if you have a auto trans there will be two hoses attach to the bottom of the trans just need plies to remove

In this model is this an ean "easy" procedure?
I replaced aradiator in our 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it was exteremly dificult!~ I hope this job is easier!
What is your opinion on the dificulty level, please?
it is very easy two bolts at the top you don't even have to remove anything to get to them then remove the two trans hoses and the lower radiator hose from the bottom then one hose from the two then pull the radiator out then remove the two bolts that holes the fan to the radiator that is it
