As I start it, the motor idles up and then after 5 seconds

Customer Question

As I start it, the motor idles up and then after 5 seconds it idles down real rough and the engine is shaking and idle is below 500 rpm then it shuts off. I restart the car it does it again and shuts off after maybe 30 seconds the third time it stays started but the idle is still low but stays started and once the car is warm idle is ok. But once i put car in gear idle is low again and once i start to drive accelerating past 20 mph it starts to stall out.
JA: Is the rough idle intermittent or consistent?
Customer: it was intermittent when it 1st happened but now its more consistent
JA: What is the model/year of your Infiniti?
Customer: its a 2000 infinit q45
JA: Are you fixing your Q45 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i did coil packs , spark plugs and fuel filter
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: tested Maf from videos i seen on youtube and as far as i know its not that

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be attempting to help you today. Do you have a check engine light on? I want to say that your vehicle is not breathing properly. Have you checked/tested for a vacuum leak?

Expert:  Todd M replied 6 months ago.

Is you air intake hose intact? That can cause an issue just as you are describing.

No check engine light

Sometimes, the check engine light for whatever doesn't turn on, so i always check anyways. I think that you should check for a vacuum or intake air leak, also.

Also, you should check to see if the vehicle has slightly jumped timing.
