Customer Question

I travel on business trips lasting from 2 to 4 weeks and when i return, the battery on my m37 is drained. looking for answers
JA: Have you tested the battery with a voltmeter? And can you see if it's leaking or not?
Customer: I'm on my 3rd battery. Don't have a voltmeter.
JA: What year is your M37?
Customer: one sec will double check 2011 or wife bought it for me...and I can never remember.
JA: Are you fixing your M37 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It's 2013. Replaced battery at local repair shop. Just charge it and then drive. I'm only now starting to look at possible solutions because I'm tired of this as a problem.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Voltage drop test ,for battery drain checking

1- Voltmeter
2- settings on voltmeter will be on milli amps.
3- go across all the fuses in the car and see which one is reading higher than 0.3 0.5 milli amps
the one fuse or fuses that read higher belong to the system causing the battery drain .

it is a small drain if it is taking few weeks to drain .

i m afraid will need at Voltmeter to do this

Please let me know

Thank You
