i have 2 intelligent keys that were working perfectly. I went on a month trip, the car was not used and now, neither key works. I tried changing batteries in one remote, no luck.
JA: Have you changed a battery before?
Customer: yes
JA: What is the model/year of your Infiniti?
Customer: 2008 g35x
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?

Does the head lights turn on and brake lights work? Did you try to jump start the car?

the car works. I use the manual key to enter and the intelligent key "work" when in the slot. The issue is with the intelligent key opening doors, truck, locking the doors, and starting the car when it is not physically in the port

got ya. Did you attempt to try changing the battery in the remote by any chance?

I replaced one of the two fobs battery and had no change

note: both fobs worked before the vacation now neither works

What is the battery number on the fob.. Yeah.. That is odd.. I have one thing I would like to try after you tell me the battery number.

Thank you.. That is the correct part number.

Lets try doing a hard reset on the car and see if it wakes up the system. Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 15 mins. Then let me know if the remotes work.

If that did not work, then all fuses would need to be checked with a test light and then remotes checked with a remote checker to verify that they are producing a signal
