I replaced the radiator hose now my car wont start. Im thinking its the anti theft device. I need help!
JA: Has the car been overheating? Have you noticed any leaks?
Customer: Whats the EGI relay fuse for. What does it do?
JA: What is the model/year of your Infiniti?
Customer: 1998 QX4
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: The hoses have been changed by my mechanic. Now the vehicle wont start
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Hoses are the only tjings that have been changed. He was to start on the oil change but now the car wont start

My mechanic wants to know if it has something to do with the anti theft system. He says it doesnt seem like the distributor isnt getting power. My battery is good. Nothing has been removed except the hose.

I'd say that the wiring to the crank position sensor on the front of the engine has been disturbed

this points to the teeth on the front pulley and provides the speed signal into the ECU

if the sensor or its wiring is damaged then the car won't start
