The light you are describing is your traction control warning light and this light comes on when the traction control system sees a system fault and when it sees a fault the system will set and store a fault code. In order to determine what is failing you are going to need to start fisrt with having the system scanned and the fault code retrieved. If you can get the scan done and post back with the fault code, I can direct you in the correct repair.
