Infiniti i30: Jay. This is 1999 i30 infiniti, won't start.

Customer Question

Hi Jay. This is 1999 i30 infiniti, won't start. Runs well as far as I can tell, i.e., problem not battery, fuel, or security. Recently replaced one coil (others are probably original, 150k miles) which cured a rough idle. Soon after, ignition became difficult, worse some days than others - would hesitate before first firing. Suspect misfire because it reminds me of the old days when rotor might need to be advanced. Finally today after a lot of rain, couldn't start at all. No noise that I can recall, or maybe one click. If this is coils, can I diagnose it visually? I have no test tools to read codes, etc. Could AutoZone read the codes? Thanks very much.
