No not on the G20. Coils are an issue on the I30. Your cars problem is most likely a failure of the mass air flow sensor. My guess is this is what tripped your check engine light and will probably trip it again. I have seen many of these fail in the past. The complaint is usually lack of power/stalling and the check engine light code P0171 system lean.
Replace your mass air flow sensor and your issue will go away.
