We have a 100% School charity stand at the Martinborough fair which is run by the South Wairarapa Rotary Club. We have been doing this for 4 years in a row selling gourmet burgers with roving cart sales of cold drinks (Coke and water etc.) This year they have come to us with the below. Dear Billy and Stella, The Martinborough Fair Committee has given careful consideration to the renewal of the Smokey Joes stall site in 2020. The shared opinion of this Committee is that Smokey Joes Burgers has now out-grown its stall site. Our average stall is typically a small business with 1-2 static sales operators per site. In comparison, Smokey Joes has approximately 15+ volunteers, combined with a roving sales approach, that has resulted in concerned feedback from other stall holders. This Committee acknowledged that Smokey Joes has enjoyed four consecutive years at the Martinborough Fair and we trust you have benefitted from this experience.
