My office deducted approx. $100k from the commission on a recent list and sale without my knowledge or without consultation. There have been no complaints against me with the REA. The vendors used an excuse that I had not told them the purchaser was one of their neighbours in an apartment building in Auckland CBD. Both the REA and REINZ say this is an arbitrary reason to get commission reduced.
