Hello My name is***** my parents Isaac Adelowo (Dad) and Abigail Adelowo (Mum) came to New Zealand last year on a Parent/Grandparents Visitors Visa.

We bought a Qatar ticket for them to go back on the 27th of October 2020. The airline advertised the flight will be having a technical stop in Brisbane Australia for 1.5 hours. But when the tickets were written there is no indication that the flight will be stopping in Australia. But when we submitted the tickets as documents to apply for Sub771 transit Visa the Visa was not granted because there is no indication on the tickets as regards ***** ***** over.

The airline was aware that the Visa was not granted on the day of travel hours before the fight and instead of canceling the fight they entered it as a no show. Thus requesting we pay another $2500.00 to rebook the flight. All efforts to resolve the problem with their Auckland office has proved abortive. We have written several emails with no response. Now that we can't get the Visa we want a refund to find another airline.
