Hello there,I bought a newly built property in October last year, and I found a serious issue that there's wastewater pooling under my deck. I gathered enough evidence to prove that the issue was caused by a wastewater pipe leak on my property before I purchased the property. However, the seller refuses to fix it and claims it's not their responsibility after providing all this evidence to them.Plan to take legal action to resolve this. The whole process is stated here https://docs.google.com/document/d/17UHByVcH5z3T2dWmVma7O7Q5yuoxvLILRs2zhCbcGC … read more

I am a 58 female on an invalids benefit. I left Christchurch
I am a 58 female on an invalids benefit. I left Christchurch to begin a new life in Collingwood. I rented a cabin off a man here whilst I waited for my house to be built. I paid all my rental and looked after his lodge whilst he was away overseas, also did all the work he required done whilst away for free. Now I have been taken to the small claims court for money he wants towards his power bills. Ive been taken to small claims 6 times, the last time was yesterday. Yesterday the referee could not control him and I was personally accused of all sorts of things I have not done. I was abused by him for almost 2.5 hours and only permitted to speak when the referee allowed me to. This man had a burglary last October and I was made the suspect. The police cleared me as I knew nothing of this incident. Now I receive a letter from ****************** saying they are taking me to court for defamation and are demanding an apology from me to lessen the charges on me. I have never spoken to the man who has been taking me to small claims, nor have I phoned him, nor have I written to him or been anywhere near his home. Yet I have a huge stack of paperwork including some extremely nasty letters from the person taking me to small claims. I have no money and live week to week on benefit, am very ill with Fibromyalgia, M.E. and awaiting an operation in the hospital. What do I do as I am so incredibly scared to leave my home and terrified of him and what he may do next. … read more
